Acadia 2024

October 2nd-October 6th

One of the most visited National Parks in the country, Acadia offers a striking coastline along the highest rocky highland on the Atlantic coast. With stunning views of Penobscot Bay, glassy ponds reflecting the surrounding mountains and deep quiet woods. Runs on this trip will take you along some of the 158 miles of trails and 45 miles of carriage.

We’ll be staying on the campus of Camp Beech Cliff which is located on Echo Lake abutting Acadia National Park. Accommodations are cozy dorm style cottages. Each room sleeps 2 people.

Delicious and wholesome meals will be served in the lodge where there is also space to relax and socialize. We’ll also have plenty of homemade snacks for on and off the trail.

On this, all woman, trip the maximum number of participants is 14. On the first and last day we will do short 3-4 mile runs. The next two days the runs will be 6-8 miles. On the last day we will do a longer 12-15 mile run. Sometimes the route or the mileage we have planned for the day won’t work for you. When this happens I will happily advise on an alternative.

Acadia is quintessential East Coast rocky, rooty, running. Almost all of our runs will include climbing at least 1 mountain. Be prepared for lots of power hiking and sore quads from coming down.

What’s included:

~4 nights accommodation at Camp Beech Cliff.
